Chisinau

Chișinău, like Rome, is situated on seven hills. Between them lie green valleys and parks, creating the impression of a city immersed in nature.

Narrow streets shaded by trees. Here, people don’t rush—they stroll. Along the way: squares, old buildings, cafés, and a tranquility that takes its time.
It began as a small village by the Bîc River, first mentioned in the 15th century. Over time, Chișinău became a trading center, then a provincial city, and today—the capital of Moldova, where history, lush parks, and a southern rhythm of life intertwine.

my white city, you’re a flower made of stone

Many buildings in the city center are made of white limestone, giving Chișinău an airy appearance. The architecture varies—from 19th-century styles to Soviet modernism and contemporary developments.

ethnographic museum

The Ethnography Museum has been operating since the late 19th century, preserving rare collections and representing a true kaleidoscope of cultures and traditions of the peoples who inhabited Chișinău and its surroundings.
Built in the architectural style of Muslim countries—Algeria and Morocco.

Through the Streets and Parks

Chișinău is one of the greenest cities in Europe. Lush trees, blooming flower beds, and fresh air — that’s what makes us love this city so much.

cathedral

In the very center of Chișinău stands the Triumphal Arch from 1840, the Cathedral with its colonnade, and a park. A little further away is the monument to Stephen the Great, erected in 1927.
